The garage needs to be a workshop this afternoon and a parking space tonight. A permanent bench makes that difficult; a pair of folding sawhorses gives the work somewhere to happen and somewhere to go afterward. BORA's Speedhorse two-pack, PM-4500T, is aimed at that repeated changeover. Its strongest buying argument is the combination of quick leg deployment and useful lumber supports, rather than simply having another place to rest a board.
Make setup part of the buying decision
The Speedhorse releases its legs through a trigger beneath the central handle. BORA also allows the legs to fold away without following a particular end-first sequence. These are useful details when setting up and clearing a work area is part of every project, instead of something you do once when furnishing a shop.
That does not make setup automatic. You still need a suitable location, room for the legs, and confirmation that the stand is correctly opened before adding a load. Think about the whole changeover: carrying the pair out, arranging the work, then putting everything away. A quicker leg mechanism addresses one part of that routine.
If your existing stands remain open all week, this feature has less opportunity to earn its price. If you repeatedly carry supports between storage and a temporary workspace, it has a clearer purpose. Buy for the frequency of that repeated action, not a stopwatch claim you have not tested yourself.
The lumber supports make the pair more useful
The pre-drilled top accepts a sacrificial piece of lumber, and the end brackets can support connecting two-by-fours. These features let the pair become the basis of a temporary working arrangement instead of being limited to two isolated support rails.
The distinction between supports and a finished workbench matters at checkout. Plan the lumber, work surface and fastening arrangement needed for your intended job. The two-pack supplies the stands; a complete bench setup still depends on the other materials you choose. Do not price the stands as though they include every part shown in a workshop example.
A replaceable wooden top can also give you a working surface you are willing to wear out. That is useful when you want to protect the metal support during appropriate cutting work. Follow BORA's attachment instructions and plan the tool path; adding wood does not make an unsafe cutting arrangement acceptable.

Fixed height is the decision to make first
BORA's support page lists a 30-inch working height for the standard Speedhorse. This PM-4500T pack contains that standard version, not the height-adjustable Speedhorse XT. Before choosing it, compare that height with the jobs you actually do and account for anything added above the stand.
A surface comfortable for one operation may be awkward for another. If changing working height is central to your plan, compare an adjustable model before buying the fixed pair. A fast folding mechanism cannot solve a height mismatch.
The support page also gives an approximate deployed footprint of 19 by 39 inches per stand. Leave space for both stands and the work around them. Measure the intended area with doors, storage and walking routes in mind, not just the size of the board resting on top.
Include the trip back to storage
The manufacturer's FAQ lists each standard Speedhorse at 18 pounds and its folded size at 45 by 6 by 3.25 inches. Two units therefore amount to about 36 pounds before adding lumber or a tabletop. Folding saves space, but it does not remove that carrying weight.
Check where two long folded bodies will live and how far they must travel. A nearby wall rack or vehicle space presents a different purchase decision from carrying them up stairs after every short repair. Portable is useful only when the actual carrying routine suits you.
Choose the PM-4500T pair for recurring temporary work where the trigger mechanism, lumber supports and fixed height all have a job. Confirm the two-pack and check the current delivered price. For loading, follow the label and instructions supplied with the exact units; never treat a promotional capacity figure as approval for every work surface or load arrangement.
