EPICKA TA-105 Pro Travel Adapter: 70W USB-C Charging
THE BUYING TAKE
Choose it if you travel internationally with a USB-C laptop and several smaller devices and want one adapter to replace separate regional plugs plus a high-output USB charger.
Best for
Frequent international travelers carrying a USB-C laptop, phone, watch, earbuds, camera gear, or other USB devices across multiple plug regions.
The trade-off
It does not convert voltage, the 70W figure is a single-port maximum, USB power is shared when several devices are connected, and EPICKA warns against grounded or incompatible high-power appliances.

International trips create a familiar charging problem: the hotel wall outlet may not match your plug, and carrying separate adapters plus a laptop charger quickly turns into cable clutter. The EPICKA TA-105 Pro combines a universal travel adapter with a 70W GaN USB-C charger, so one compact block can handle the wall connection and charge several devices at the same time.
At $49.99 from EPICKA, the buying question is whether you travel often enough to benefit from replacing a bag of regional adapters and extra USB chargers with one device. The TA-105 Pro makes the strongest case for travelers carrying a laptop, phone, watch, earbuds, and other USB gear.
One adapter covers the plug types most travelers meet
EPICKA builds four retractable destination plugs into the body: US/Japan, EU, UK, and Australia/China styles. The company says that combination works across more than 200 countries and regions.
That does not mean every socket everywhere is covered. EPICKA's manual specifically says the TA-105 Pro does not fit Type D sockets commonly found in India and Nepal or Type M sockets used in parts of southern Africa. Some countries also use mixed standards, so checking the actual outlet at your hotel or destination still matters.
The advantage is convenience. For a multi-country trip through Europe, the UK, Japan, and Australia, you do not need four separate plug adapters in your bag.
The 70W USB-C port can replace a separate laptop charger
The main USB-C1 port supports USB Power Delivery up to 70W when used by itself. That is enough for many thin-and-light laptops, tablets, phones, and handheld devices that accept USB-C PD.
The adapter also has two additional USB-C ports and two USB-A ports. With the AC socket, that gives you six places to connect devices. For a hotel room with one usable wall outlet, being able to charge a laptop, phone, watch, earbuds, and camera batteries from one block is the real reason to choose the Pro model over a basic plug-only adapter.
Power is shared when multiple USB devices are connected. EPICKA specifies 45W for USB-C1 plus 15W shared by the remaining USB ports in its combined-output mode. That means the headline 70W is a single-port maximum, not 70W available to every connected device at once.

GaN helps keep a high-output charger travel-size
Gallium nitride power electronics let manufacturers build higher-output chargers in smaller housings than older designs. EPICKA uses GaN in the TA-105 Pro while keeping the unit at about 8.32 ounces.
It is still bulkier than a tiny single-country adapter, but the comparison changes if it replaces both your international plug kit and your USB-C laptop charger. EPICKA includes a carry bag plus spare 10A fuses, which makes the setup easier to keep together between trips.
The built-in plug lock, safety shutters, replaceable fuse, and over-power protections are useful travel details, but they do not remove the need to follow the device limits.
The biggest limitation: it does not convert voltage
This is the detail that matters most before buying. The TA-105 Pro changes plug shape; it does not turn 220-240V electricity into 110-120V electricity.
USB devices charged through the adapter's own USB ports are handled by the adapter. But anything connected to the AC outlet must support the local voltage. Look for an input label such as 100-240V, 50/60Hz on a laptop charger or other appliance.
EPICKA also warns against appliances that require a ground wire and against exceeding 1000W at 100V or 2400W at 240V. High-power hair tools deserve special attention because many are single-voltage even when the plug physically fits.
Buy it to simplify a multi-device travel kit
The TA-105 Pro makes the most sense for international travelers who carry several USB-powered devices and a USB-C laptop. It replaces multiple regional adapters, adds a 70W PD charger, and gives one hotel outlet enough ports for a full overnight charging routine.
Skip it if you only travel to one plug region, need a grounded connection, or rely on single-voltage high-power appliances. For the right traveler, the value is not simply that it works abroad; it is that one compact adapter can remove several other chargers and plug pieces from the bag.
