Before buying speakers with reactive lighting, decide where the sound and light will go. Logitech G560 is a 2.1 system: two desktop satellites and a separate subwoofer. That makes the space around and below your desk part of the purchase decision.

Give each part a place

Bluetooth is another option for streaming audio from a compatible device. The guide places the pairing button on the rear of the right satellite. A separate AUX input is on the subwoofer; the required 3.5 mm cable is not included.

Write down which device will use each connection before purchasing. A desktop computer, a phone and another audio source can have different needs. Do not assume that every connection provides the same software features, or that a computer-oriented speaker automatically meets every console requirement.

Once connected, play familiar speech at a modest level and confirm the intended output in your computer settings. Check this again after using a headset or switching applications. A silent speaker can simply be the wrong selected output.

Start with restrained lighting

Logitech describes four lighting zones and screen sampling through G HUB. You can assign regions of the display to the front and rear lighting areas. This gives you a practical choice about which on-screen changes should influence the room.

Begin with one familiar scene and a comfortable brightness. Look at the monitor while assessing the effect, rather than staring directly at the speaker. Check for distracting reflections on nearby surfaces. A dramatic product photograph cannot tell you how lighting will look against your own wall.

Compare a steady lighting arrangement with a reactive one during an ordinary session. If the movement competes with reading, working or watching a quiet scene, simplify it. The documented G-key can dim the lights, and its behavior can be customized through G HUB.

Keep a convenient quiet option

The right satellite has a headphone socket according to the setup guide. Consider whether you can reach it easily without shifting the speaker or stretching a cable across the keyboard. This small detail matters when switching from daytime speakers to private listening.

Logitech specifies 240 watts peak and 120 watts RMS for the system. These are different ratings, not interchangeable descriptions of continuous output. Neither number tells you the comfortable volume for your room or proves how a particular recording will sound.

G560 makes the most sense when you have space for three components and want software-controlled lighting alongside desktop audio. Choose it for that complete setup, after checking the connections and layout, rather than expecting the lighting or power figure alone to solve every listening need.
