Choose it for inward-positioned feet and the option to add separate flat-drying tiers. Budget for extra racks, and check support and garment clearance.
Best for
People arranging flat drying on a suitable counter or appliance top, especially when separately purchased matching racks could provide additional independent tiers.
The trade-off
One rack is included. OXO does not list the foot spacing or a maximum stack height and load rating. Check garment fit, support under all four feet and storage clearance.

Article summary
This mesh rack places its feet inward from the corners, allowing a suitable smaller surface to support the frame. Another separately purchased rack adds a connected flat-drying tier. Check the supporting spot, garment clearance and storage space before planning the arrangement.

Several garments marked for flat drying can compete for the same patch of counter. The OXO Good Grips Folding Sweater Dryer, model 1327780, lets you plan that drying area around two details: feet positioned inward from the corners and connections for stacking separately purchased racks.
This is a single white mesh rack. It provides one flat surface; adding another tier means buying another complete unit. The appeal is arranging dedicated flat-drying space where you can support it, without setting up hanging rails and shoe holders that your particular load may not need.
The support can be smaller than the frame
OXO positions the legs away from the frame's outer corners. The manufacturer specifically describes this arrangement for smaller surfaces such as countertops, washing machines or dryers. The mesh can extend beyond the supporting surface while the feet remain farther inward.
OXO lists the open rack at 26 by 26 by 4.5 inches. That describes the whole open unit, not the distance between its feet. Before choosing a spot, check that all four feet have firm support and that the frame and garment have enough surrounding room.
This distinction matters when the available surface is smaller than the mesh square. Measure the place where you would set the rack, rather than assuming any appliance top will work. OXO does not list a distance between the feet. Placement on an appliance also does not establish that the loaded rack should stay there while the machine is running.
Each extra tier needs another complete rack
OXO's instruction sheet shows all four legs of an upper rack connecting to the unit below. Each complete frame keeps its own mesh surface, with the second surface positioned above the first.
That provides a way to add another flat-drying surface above the first. It can be useful when more than one suitable garment needs its own place after washing, instead of spreading additional racks side by side. Each additional tier requires another complete rack, purchased separately.
Check garment fit on each mesh surface and leave clear space between tiers. OXO's instruction sheet gives no maximum stack height or load rating. Adding a rack creates another surface, but the clothing still has to fit within that arrangement. Check the clearance above a garment before adding a tier, and do not plan around a promised drying time.

Assemble with the bottom of the frame facing up
Initial setup involves joining the frame pieces. Unfold the jointed side poles so they are straight, and lay the netting flat with those poles parallel. OXO directs you to place the corners smooth side down, with the legs on top of the mesh; the bottom of the rack is facing upward at this stage.
Insert the straight side poles into the sleeves along the other two sides. Press the button on a corner piece and slide it into a straight pole until the button comes through the hole. Repeat at every corner. The instructions allow you to slide the netting closer to the corners if you need more slack while joining the pieces.
Then fold out all four legs and turn the rack right side up. Allow for this initial frame assembly before arranging the first load, including enough space to lay the pieces out flat.
Fold the empty frame after drying
For storage, OXO instructs you to fold in all four legs and fold the frame in half at the jointed side poles. Check the resulting bundle against the place you want to store it; folding does not remove the need for clearance.
Garment care instructions still govern what belongs on the mesh. Check each item's fit and leave room for air around it. A rack supplies support, rather than a heated drying cycle or a guarantee against fabric changes.
The useful choice here is the layout: a suitable surface beneath the inward-positioned feet, with another complete rack available if independent flat tiers are needed. Buyers mainly drying hanging clothes need a different kind of support.
