Directional microbristles also work differently from adhesive tape. You need to follow the arrow and flip the brush for the reverse direction. Very deeply embedded hairs can require repeated passes, and textured upholstery is not where this compact garment brush has its strongest advantage.

The self-cleaning base is convenient, not magic. Hair still ends up inside the base, so you have to open the bottom and remove the collected debris. If your priority is the smallest possible travel tool, OXO's compact on-the-go FurLifter is another separate model; this full garment brush is better suited to a closet, entryway, or dressing area.
