The TP03B is an instant-read thermometer, not a leave-in probe. TempPro’s FAQ says you insert the probe for a quick measurement and remove it after the reading. If you need especially tight temperature tolerances for delicate work, verify the current specification with TempPro or move to a model with a clearly stated calibration feature and tighter published tolerance.
