A portable projector is useful when the viewing arrangement can travel with it. The NEBULA Capsule 3 Laser combines a battery, speaker and streaming system in a compact cylindrical body. Before buying, decide where it will stand, what it will project onto and how your chosen content will reach it.

The practical decision is whether a movable viewing setup suits you better than a permanently arranged screen.
NEBULA lists a 1080p resolution and 300 ANSI lumens for this laser projector. Those specifications identify its output; they do not establish how a particular wall, ambient light or image size will look in your room. Plan the viewing conditions before treating the largest supported image as your target.
The Google TV manual gives an example of approximately 2.65 meters between the lens and screen for a 100-inch image. That distance is a useful planning check: a small projector body does not mean that a large picture needs only a small room. Measure the available path from its intended position to the surface.
A stable, flat placement and a suitable projection surface deserve attention alongside portability. Think about whether people will cross the image path and whether the unit can stay in place during the program. Automatic image adjustments cannot create missing room space or turn an unsuitable viewing arrangement into a good one.
The built-in battery gives the Capsule 3 Laser a reason to move between viewing locations without always finding an outlet beside the unit. It can suit an occasional session where positioning flexibility matters more than leaving a permanent installation in place.
The brightness mode is part of that decision. The Google TV manual describes Eco as reducing brightness to save power. Its Auto setting uses maximum brightness when connected to power and switches to Eco when power is disconnected. Battery operation and the highest brightness setting are therefore different planning conditions.
Do not treat the advertised battery duration as a promise for every configuration or every long film. Consider the whole session, including setup, and arrange charging before you need it. Check a replacement charger or power bank against the documented requirements rather than assuming any USB-C source provides the same usable supply.
Google TV and licensed Netflix offer a second practical buying reason: supported streaming can run through the projector's own system. You do not necessarily need a separate streaming box for those supported apps. That can reduce the number of devices you arrange for an ordinary viewing session.
It still needs the relevant setup. The manual includes connecting to Wi-Fi and signing in with a Google account. Check the apps and accounts you expect to use, and allow time to complete the setup where a suitable network is available. The presence of a streaming system does not mean every service or subscription is included.
For casting, the manual calls for the source device and projector to share a wireless network. It also notes copyright restrictions on some content. Use a supported app on the projector where appropriate, rather than assuming that mirroring a phone will show everything. If you plan an HDMI source, include its connection and power needs in the arrangement.
Autofocus and automatic keystone correction help when positioning the unit, while the built-in speaker puts sound in the same portable body. These conveniences can make a movable setup easier to plan. They do not remove the need to choose a stable position, check the image and prepare the content.
The supplier pictures illustrate the product and projection concept; they are not measurements of brightness or contrast in your room. Judge the purchase around a location you can realistically prepare, instead of taking an illustration as a preview of every environment.
Choose Capsule 3 Laser when a portable viewing station, built-in streaming and battery flexibility have a regular job. Skip it if you prefer a fixed screen with minimal repeated preparation, cannot provide the projection distance, or need unplugged use to behave like maximum-brightness powered operation.
